What's My Wrist-Wear Choice for Today?
My Flavor of the Day
Today, I'm sporting my Deep Blue, Deep Star 1000, once again representing colors from my home team Baltimore Orioles. Fortunately, my wrist-game is doing a whole lot better than my Orioles right now, LOL.
Deep Blue as a brand originated in 2007, and has built a solid niche following in the dive watch segment by offering timepieces that are well-designed, well-crafted, and highly affordable. Timepieces within their collection sport options ranging from above-average water resistant ratings to tritium tubes.
I've decided to pair my timepiece today with a custom-designed beaded bracelet from Beads By Gonzo, staying color-coordinated and complimenting my main wrist wear.

Simon, I started being intrigued by bead wear about a year ago, as a compliment to my watches. I guess I can blame that on slick internet-based advertising, LOL. Prior to jumping on the bead / bracelet bandwagon, I was firmly in the camp that watches alone should only adorn the wrist. I tried it out, and I personally like it. To be honest, my wrist almost feels naked without them now. There are some bracelet vendors in the market that work with a great array of stones and finishes, with a few concentrating on custom work like the bracelet you see pictured with my Deep Blue. To me, it's something fun to add as complimentary wrist wear…
Thank you Carl!
Why they beads?
That is a great combo!
