What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day
For Monday, I decided to start my week with one of the true sleepers within my collection. I'd say you know a watch is a sleeper, when you don't wear it often within your rotation, but that timepiece brings about a certain feeling of joy, every time you strap it on your wrist. Such is the case with the Invicta Reserve, Pro Diver Chronograph.
No doubt, the influenced, Coke, GMT bezel, was my immediate draw to this timepiece, but after wearing the timepiece, there are many other features that give this piece a personality all it's own. The Ronda, quartz movement is just one such feature; sporting a big date / big day complication. The slate Gray dial offers a cleaner, crisper contrast to the Coke / GMT bezel, than would a simple, matte Black dial, IMO. Then there's the construction; with this timepiece having an extremely solid build. Would I go as far to say that the quality, and fit-and-finish is on the same level as my Breitling, probably not, but that gap in difference isn't thousands of dollars apart, that's for sure.
Keeping the Red and Black, Coca-Cola theme going with my accessory choice today, opting for a custom-crafted bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo. I guess I'm enjoying Wrist-Game and a smile today!
