Vostok, Amphibian - Radio Room Mod.

For my hump day selection, the Vostok, Amphibian - Radio Room mod, gets the call for desk-diving duties today. Prior to obtaining this timepiece, I had begun a search, in earnest, for a Radio Room timepiece. I really expected my first Radio Room timepiece, to be obtained through the brand Vostok Europe. After all, I had really been admiring some of their White / Blue Radio Room dials. At the same time, I had been scoping-out some Vostok modded timepieces, offered through one of the watch forums I frequent, and decided to conduct a search of Ebay, for modded Vostok pieces also. I came across the beautiful mod pictured, and it was love-at-first-sight.

I would've never guessed that a polished stainless steel case, and polished PVD bracelet, would go so well together. But the combination, along with the polished bezel and contrasting bezel insert, is a perfect marriage; and then there's the amazing dial! All of this wrist-wear goodness, placed in a universally wearable package, with a case diameter coming in at sub-42mm.

Pairing this Vostok modded beauty today, with a custom-made bracelet, designed by the Master Beader, Beads By Gonzo. The Russian collusion in my watch box, is becoming a full-on Russian takeover.
