What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day
It's Friday the 13th, but there's nothing scary about my wrist selection today, sporting the Sturmanski, Mars - Cosmonaut Trainer, Limited Edition. This timepiece has the 3 B's, Big, Bold, and Beautiful. The Orange enamel accents on the case and dial, really allow this timepiece to POP! With probably the best features of this Mars, being the floating dial, and three dial extensions meeting the chapter ring, meant to replicate the Soyuz booster rockets. A very uniquely designed timepiece, with nothing about the design that seems basic, or cookie-cutter.
Another cool factor about this timepiece, is that this piece is the official watch used by the Russian space program, for their Cosmonaut training program; the Eastern European influence within my watch-box, is now nearly complete.
Orbiting the Mars today, is a custom-crafted bracelet, designed specifically for this watch by Beads By Gonzo. If Mars is the next frontier of space exploration, there is sure to be some cool watches, and Astronauts and Cosmonauts with plenty of Wrist-Game swag!
